In this session, we shift the emphasis from defining the forerunner call to explaining the variety of functions of the forerunner. Future sessions will address forerunners as end-time messengers, master builders, intercessors, and friends of the Bridegroom. This session focuses on the role of the forerunner as a voice for the Lord. In this session, we explain that both Elijah and John the Baptist were above all else voices for the Lord, and that, above all else, forerunners must also be voices for the Lord. The session continues with a discussion of eight ways forerunners become a voice to turn people back to Christ so as to make them ready for the Lord.
