12 – The Bride in the Book of Ruth

Session Overview

This session draws important principles about the bride of Christ from the book of Ruth. In the book of Ruth, a Moabite woman, Ruth, follows her mother-in-law, Naomi, from Moab to Bethlehem and ultimately marries her kinsman-redeemer, Boaz. In this short four-chapter book, there are amazing parallels between Ruth’s journey from Moab to marriage with our journey out of compromise to our marriage to our kinsman-redeemer, Christ. The study of Ruth adds very valuable insight to our understanding of how to make ourselves ready as a bride for Christ.
