The measure of Christ’s life that fills and possesses the individual parts of the body determines the growth of the corporate body into a mature man, bearing fully the image of the heavenly Man, Christ Jesus. If the individual parts of the body are immature, the whole body will be immature. Conversely, if the individual parts of the body reflect the image of the Man, the body will reflect the image of the Man. With this insight in mind, Paul challenges us to grow up. This message looks at how offense and familiarity keep us immature. These are like rocks and weeds in our garden that prevent the seed of Christ in us from growing to full maturity.
