This session focuses on giving people confidence to draw close to God in worship. Whether expressing worship through song or in private words of adoration, many have had life experiences that hinder the free worship of the Lord. One common mindset that hinders worship is that believers do not consider themselves worthy to come into the presence of a holy God. They believe their sin is too great, their past too bad, or their present struggles too severe to be considered worthy. God has invited each of us to draw near with confidence, regardless of our sins, failures, or weaknesses. Most certainly, He does not want to leave us in our sin and failures, but it is in the presence of God that we are transformed. This session will help people overcome the feelings of unworthiness that prevent them from drawing near to God.
