This session looks at the eschatological error of Replacement Theology. Replacement Theology is the belief the church has replaced Israel in God’s prophetic agenda. When this false doctrine is embraced, it removes Israel and the Jewish people completely out of the end-time picture, distorting how we view the end of the age. Since numerous end-time prophecies have both the nation of Israel and the Jewish people at the centerstage of God’s end-time activity, it skews our eschatological view. As this session makes clear, the church has not replaced Israel; we have been grafted into Israel. Furthermore, as discussed in this session, the fruit of Replacement Theology is Christian antisemitism, which has been on full display for most of church history. This session also looks at the atrocities committed by the church toward the Jewish people because of the error of Replacement Theology.
